One of the most heartfelt pieces I have painted – this piece reveres all women who have survived, succumbed or continued to battle against cancer. The depth of colors all pay tribute to her many qualities- the color symbolizes wisdom and strength, it signifies a connection with the infinite consciousness of the futility of life and above all, it personifies bravery and courage. Truly, these are women of great strength and resilience. Though cancer has claimed many lives, this painting is about celebrating the journey to overcome physical and emotional trauma.
