Iris

This work is inspired by the colors of the rainbow and the Greek Goddess Iris, who used the rainbow to travel to and from the skies. It encourages the viewer to see the world with the same amazement, wonder, and innocence through the eyes of a child. This work invites the viewer to rejoice in the beauty and harmony with which all elements of nature coexist. The painting is a celebration of love and compassion for all living creatures; it admires the beauty of the unassuming earthworm just as much as the vibrant butterflies. Which reminds us that we are all part of a marvelous coexistence in nature. The vibrant colors are a celebration of life itself and the grand scheme in which we find ourselves insignificant, yet crucial to completing the paradigm.
